Ask the Manager - Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust
Transcript (pdf)
Do you have a question about Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust that you would like to ask the manager, Mark Urquhart?
In his next webcast, Mark will answer some questions from current and potential shareholders, and we would like to encourage as broad a range of questions as possible. These might be about the existing investments and strategy or broader questions about the approach taken.
Edinburgh Worldwide started trading in 1998 and is the successor investment trust launched following the reconstruction of Dunedin Worldwide Investment Trust. It has been managed by Baillie Gifford & Co since November 2003 and invests globally to achieve long-term capital growth. Visit the Edinburgh Worldwide pages on Baillie Gifford's website for more information.
To submit your question, please complete the question submission form and selected and representative questions will be put to Mark in the webcast. This will be broadcast on Trust Online in March or shortly thereafter.
The value of a stock market investment and any income from it can fall as well as rise and investors may not get back the amount invested. Investments with exposure to overseas securities can be affected by changing stock market conditions and currency exchange rates and these may cause the value of an investment to go down or up.
